Righteous Rhymes
Righteous Rhymes is a coloring book and accompanying double CD set for young children in which familiar nursery rhymes have been rewritten with God-centered lyrics, and the Jewish roots of faith in the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) are emphasized. Each CD contains eleven lessons dealing with the real needs of young children., such as Joy, Sin, Fear, Love, and Sharing the Messiah. First Jamie teaches a short lesson on the subject and then sings the rewritten nursery rhyme to reinforce the Bible concept. A children’s chorus then joins her. Both the songs and teachings minister God’s love and peace to the young child. Many parents report that Righteous Rhymes has a special anointing to conquer fear.
At the end of each CD, Jamie invites the children to pray with her to receive Yeshua as their Messiah. She has received hundreds of letters from children who have been born again through Righteous Rhymes. Jamie responds personally to each letter, and encloses a little “born-again birthday” gift as well.
We have also had reports of Righteous Rhymes being used at the end of someone’s life, to sweetly usher them into the presence of the Lord. For example, a 90+ year old was soothed in her spirit as she listened to Jamie and the children’s chorus sing: “Baa. Baa black sheep, Have you any fear? No, sir, No, sir. God is near.” Then, the Lord took her home.
