Dear Mishpochah (Family),

New TV Programs in Our New Home

On April 29, we will finally begin to produce new television programs in our new home (See photo of new set).
By God's grace, and through His power, we will produce "Separation," "Prophecy," and "Israel and the Church," three very timely topics. We have experienced much spiritual opposition in preparing these programs and know that God plans to use them for His glory and His end-time purposes. Please pray for us this month as we gear up for production.

Those who see our TV programs might think that we just sit on the couch and begin to talk about the week's topic. Actually, we carefully plan our words because only 10-15 minutes of each half hour program is devoted to our teaching. The rest is interviews, music, dance, cooking and other segments. Did you ever attend a service where the preacher spoke for 12 minutes? We are challenged as we seek to present Biblical topics clearly, succinctly and in a condensed form!

Jamie researches and writes the programs and usually begins with at least 30 minutes of teaching. Neil steps in and helps edit. Other segments are pre-edited in Jamie's home office and timed to the second so that less time is spent in the professional editing suite. All segments except for the teaching are completed before the production day.

Neil and Jamie then weave their teaching around the segments. If the teaching is too long, they have to start all over. The second and third "takes" are usually better than the first. Since three programs are produced in one day, everyone is exhausted by 5:00 P.M. Television is not really glamorous. It is hard work, but well worth it when lives are touched for eternity.

Last month Neil attended a Men's Breakfast at a local restaurant. About thirty men from Temple Aron Hakodesh, the Messianic Synagogue we attend, were there. Neil sat at a table with two other men and as they fellowshipped, Vincent told Neil that he had been viewing Jewish Jewels for several years and one day had called us to get the address of the Temple. Now he attends regularly. During their conversation Vincent asked Neil how much each Jewish Jewels program cost. Neil told him that each program costs about $3,000. Neil also told Vincent that our ministry board had just suggested that we give people an opportunity to sponsor a new episode of Jewish Jewels. Neil then went back to the buffet for some more eggs. When he returned, he found that Vincent had become the first "Program Sponsor" with his check for $1,000.

Please pray and see if you are to sponsor part, or all, of a new Jewish Jewels television program. Your name will appear at the end of the program (if you desire) with the words. "This program has been sponsored by a love grant from the following friend(s) of Yeshua: YOUR NAME." You might also consider sponsoring, a program in honor of a loved one (living or departed).

Last month we mentioned the new Messianic album, "He Reigns," written and recorded by our good friend Jeremy Storch. We'd like to tell you more about it this month. Those of you who have seen Jeremy on our Jewish Jewels program know that he is a gifted songwriter and an anointed musician and singer. We believe Jeremy has written some of the most beautiful Messianic music in existence.

Jeremy's song "Adoneynu," a stirring Hebraic love song, is one of the songs recently recorded on "He Reigns." Jeremy sang "Adoneynu" on our "Seashells" program. Songs such as "Yeshua is Lord" with lots of "li-li's" will minister the joy of the Lord to your soul and set your feet tapping! Order Jeremy's new album today. You will be blessed. Rose Price, Tante Rose to Jewish Jewels viewers, is going to Poland this month with her granddaughter Natanya to produce a documentary about a ten year old girl (Rose) taken from her home by the Nazis. They leave for Poland on April 24th. and will be going to the town where Rose was born. There they will visit the site of Rose's childhood home, the synagogue she attended, the ghetto and perhaps the ammunitions factory where 10 year old Rose made ammunition for the Nazis.

Rose and Natanya will also go to Auschwitz and to Treblinka where Rose's whole family was murdered. Please pray that God will comfort Rose as she relives this very difficult time in her life. Pray for good weather too!

Bill Etis, an independent adjuster for insurance companies, is a beautiful example of what God is doing among senior citizens in South Florida. They are coming to Yeshua and are hungry for God! Bill is on the move so much that he usually misses our Jewish Jewels TV programs. He satisfies his desire to study and learn more about the Holy Scriptures by watching video cassettes of the programs.

Bill (age 67) was immersed last month in the waters of the mikvah in our swimming pool. This precious Jewish widower told the cloud of witnesses present that he is thrilled to be part of the mishpochah at Temple Aron Hakodesh, can't wait for Shabbat to come, and feels fulfilled. In Bill's own words: "I feel so gifted because I know I'm not alone. I have Yeshua in my heart. There's no doubt in my mind that I've been born again. I've become spiritual _ not religious."

Bill sent two of the Jewish Jewels video tapes to some friends _ a Jewish couple in their 70's. They called him and said that they wanted to visit our Temple and find out more. If you don't see Jewish Jewels in your area, why not order some programs on cassette, then pass them on!

God has opened a door for our TV program to be broadcast in the "land down under" beginning this month. There are 100,000 Jews in Australia. Most live in Melbourne (45,000) and Sydney (35,000). According to An Intercessor's Guide to the Jewish World there are a number of characteristics that distinguish the Australian Jewish community from most other English-speaking communities including a high rate of enrollment in Jewish day schools, and a low rate of intermarriage.

Anti-Semitism is not common in Australia, and Jewish people are for the most part very "comfortable." It is estimated that the Jewish community in Australia has the highest percentage of Holocaust survivors of any Jewish community in the world.

Pray for Australia. Pray that the Jewish people there will become spiritually hungry, and embrace Yeshua as Messiah. Pray also for the Messianic movement that is growing in Australia.
